French Art Deco–Style Round Dining Table, circa 1945–1955

This French round table is distinguished by the restraint of its lines and the quality of its proportions.

Its broad circular top rests on a central base composed of four uprights joined in a cross formation, enhanced by fine vertical fluting that recalls the geometric vocabulary of French Art Deco. Though made in the mid-20th century, it retains the elegance and modernity of interwar design.

The warm tone of the wood and simplicity of its design give it a timeless presence—both architectural and understated. Its central base provides ample legroom and comfortably accommodates six diners, or more depending on the size and type of chairs used.

In very good overall vintage condition, with a beautiful patina of use. A few marks and light scuffs consistent with the age and use of the piece contribute to its authenticity.
