Since 2019, OVNI Home has explored furniture and objects with freedom, without seeking to champion a single movement or a name, but by considering each piece for what it is.
Iconic, anonymous, vernacular, understated or bold: pieces are selected for the rightness of their design, the quality of their making, and those details that catch the eye. They move through periods without losing their strength, bearing witness to human stories, gestures and craftsmanship that still resonate today.
We believe in interiors that are composed slowly, through encounters with objects whose character and sincerity resist passing fashions.
A line, a material, a patina, a proportion or a construction detail can sometimes be enough to create a dialogue between pieces separated by several decades.
The workshops
Each piece we offer is carefully examined and, when necessary, restored in our workshop or by specialist craftspeople.
Some signs of use are preserved, others corrected, in order to find the right balance between an object’s history and the use it will regain. We always prioritise structural soundness and everyday usability.
A human-scale house
OVNI Home is an independent house, built on a demanding selection and attentive craftsmanship.
This human-scale approach allows us to know the objects we offer: their history, their particularities and any restoration they may have undergone. It is a more attentive way of acquiring antique furniture, in which service retains a personal dimension.
A direct, case-by-case exchange
Acquiring an antique piece should never be reduced to a remote transaction.
Its condition, proportions and intended use deserve to be considered with precision. Our work does not end with the selection: it continues through conversation, the accuracy of the information we provide, the care brought to every stage, and our availability after your purchase.
We take the time to answer questions, send additional photographs, explain a construction detail or a sign of use, and discuss how a piece might find its place within your interior. The aim is not to persuade at all costs, but to enable an informed choice.
Objects described with accuracy
The pieces we offer are old and may bear discreet traces of their journey. They are described and photographed transparently, whether in relation to their condition or restoration.
Support through to the arrival of your piece
From the first enquiry through to delivery, OVNI Home remains your point of contact.
This proximity does not multiply stages; on the contrary, it makes them clearer, more flexible and better suited to both the object and its future home.
Each transport arrangement is considered according to the nature of the piece and its destination. The terms are clarified in advance, and follow-up is provided through to receipt, with particular care given to fragile or large-scale objects.
After delivery, OVNI Home remains available for any question concerning the piece, its care or installation.
