A 1970s Space Age–inspired coffee table with a smoked-glass top and a curved chrome-plated metal base. Its fluid, airy design perfectly illustrates the decade’s futuristic aesthetic, in which glass and metal interact in a balance of lightness and sophistication.
A timeless piece that will sit naturally in a contemporary, vintage or postmodern interior.
The glass has a few small, localised chips along its edge and one approximately 1 cm chip on the rim of the top; these do not affect the table’s stability or use. There is light pitting to the chrome and a few barely visible surface scratches consistent with its age; please see photographs.
