A pair of small patinated plaster urns with lids, decorated in relief with dragonflies on the bodies and putti on the lids.
Their naturalistic and Symbolist vocabulary places them firmly in the spirit of Art Nouveau, circa 1900. The material and its subtle surface irregularities give them a soft, almost archaeological patina.
They may be displayed as a decorative pair or used as small jewellery or keepsake boxes.
In good vintage condition. Aged patina, light signs of time, and small, localised chips to the relief decoration and lids, all visible in the photographs.
