Elegant Art Deco side table crafted from solid rosewood and rosewood veneer, probably dating from the 1930s.

Characterised by its understated architectural design, the table features a base composed of two solid vertical panels connected by a low stretcher. These panels rest on slightly projecting feet with rounded ends, introducing a subtle softness to the otherwise rigorous geometry of the piece.

The rectangular top, made from solid rosewood, features a slightly raised surface framed by a substantial apron with clean, well-defined lines.

The rosewood displays a rich grain with deep shades of brown and reddish tones, particularly enhanced by the simplicity of the design.

With its balanced proportions, restrained lines and emphasis on materials, this table reflects the modernist furniture aesthetic of the interwar period.

The table has been carefully restored and remains in very good overall condition, with a few signs of age still visible, reflecting its history. Please refer to the detailed photographs.

Dimensions: W. 66 × D. 41.5 × H. 56 cm.
